Valentine’s Day senior photos with the Inspire Team were an absolute must this year! Despite our 2020/2021 team being limited to just four members due to, well, that unprecedented year, I was thrilled to capture some adorable Valentine’s-themed shots with two of our amazing girls.

So we got planning for these cute Valentine’s Day photos! Only two of the girls could participate, but we had a blast anyway!

Being part of the Senior Inspire Team means you get to get out and get some themed photos. Valentine’s Day boasts some of my favorite colors, and I love planning styled shoots!

🧡 Planning the Valentine’s Day Senior Photoshoot

The planning for this shoot was pretty simple. I like to keep things pretty simple when working with a group!

1. Custom Conversation Heart Sweatshirts
First, we ordered these adorable conversation heart sweatshirts from Oh Sarah Jean; she is always creating the cutest things!

2. Sweet Treats from Beyond Measure Baking Co.
Next, I contacted my friend Justine, who owns the cutest bakery. I asked if she was interested in making some goodies that I could photograph for Valentine’s Day for her and then let my girls have some tasty treats! You gotta check Justine’s Bakery Beyond Measure Baking Co. They were super yummy, and the girls had fun helping me style all the yummies!

🎈 Props for the Valentine’s Day Photoshoot

Then I ordered some props for the Valentine’s Day photos! I mean, you have to have fun props when planning senior team photoshoots!

3. Fun Sunglasses and Straws
I found these super fun and cute sunglasses off of Amazon. You can find those here; they are a fun little treat to add to your Valentine’s Day. I also got these adorable straws from Amazon as well; you can click here for those.

4. Glass Bottled Sodas
The Coke bottles came from our local grocery store. I will say it is not the easiest to find glass bottles of pop. So be sure to find those first! Next time, I think I might try to get Crush soda in the strawberry flavor. I think those would be cute. Lucky for me, I do live near Amish country, and there is a cute little store that has lots of fun bottled pop.

5. Balloon Arch Backdrop
A balloon arch can really elevate the look of any space. I love adding them for parties and fun photoshoots. I can’t find the exact arch we used, but this is close. Even when I helped plan Prom for our local school during the shutdown, I purchased several arch kits off of Amazon, and they made a perfect backdrop for a selfie station!

6. Confetti Poppers
Confetti poppers were a fun addition too, but we ended up scooping up the confetti off the floor since it took a few tries! It was a little messy but fun! Valentine-colored confetti poppers are found here. Did I mention I love Amazon when prop shopping for a themed photoshoot? It just makes it easy and not have to do tons of running around!

7. Styling the Valentine’s Day Treats
The things used to style the Valentine goodies from Beyond Measure came from Hobby Lobby! If you have never been to one of those stores, you have to check it out!
