Downtown Cleveland Senior Photos was the perfect fit for Makayla’s stylish, city-inspired session. You might recognize this pretty girl from my Senior Inspire Team (if you missed that blog, check it out at the bottom of the page!). Also, for her individual session, she wanted an urban, energetic vibe—Downtown Cleveland delivered! We explored iconic spots like East 4th Street, the Cleveland Arcade, and finished her session at the beach with a stunning Lake Erie sunset.

Makayla had a clear vision for her senior portraits—she wanted something modern, bold, and totally unique. The variety Downtown Cleveland offers made it the perfect backdrop. Whether we were capturing portraits in alleyways, in front of architectural landmarks, or soaking in the light by the beach, every spot reflected her personality beautifully.
Get to Know Makayla – Waynedale High School Senior
Makayla, a proud Waynedale High School senior, is the oldest of three siblings. She’s been playing soccer since childhood and switches between forward and midfielder positions. Beyond the soccer field, she enjoys fishing, hiking, and relaxing around the campfire with her family.
- Favorite Season: Fall (hello cozy sweaters and changing leaves!)
- Favorite Color: Sky blue
- Go-to Relaxation: Netflix and chilling on the back deck
- Faith: Volunteers for mission meals at Fairlawn Mennonite Church
- Hobbies: Playing the ukulele
- Favorite Stores: Hollister, Pacsun, American Eagle, Francesca’s
- Favorite Food: Pizza, strawberries, and pineapple
- Favorite Restaurants: Broken Rocks Café, El Campesino, Canes
- Fave TV Show: Riverdale | Movie: Dear John
- Favorite Bible Verse: Philippians 4:13
Makayla also juggles two jobs—at Gionino’s and Shady Lawn—and still makes time for friends, family, and fun.
Plans After Senior Year
Also, after graduation, Makayla plans to attend college close to home. She’s currently looking at the University of Akron, Kent State, and Ashland University. With her work ethic, positive attitude, and strong values, she’s bound to succeed wherever she lands.
