Smithville Senior Photos with Jasmine | Downtown Wooster + Sunflowers

Looking for inspiration for your Smithville senior photos? Jasmine’s session had it all — from glowing sunflower fields to stylish shots in downtown Wooster. Her session is a perfect example of how you can combine natural and urban backdrops for your senior portraits. Plus, Jasmine is the first Smithville High School senior I’ve had the joy of photographing, and we made her shoot one to remember.

Sunflower Fields and Downtown Wooster Vibes

When Jasmine’s mom reached out earlier this summer, she mentioned wanting sunflower field photos and Downtown Wooster senior portraits. So I got busy searching for the perfect sunflower location and was thrilled when I found out Ramseyer Farms had planted a beautiful field just in time. Jasmine joined me for a Sunflower Mini Session in early September, and later that month, we explored Downtown Wooster for the second part of her session.

We had so much fun walking around the city, listening to music, and capturing some truly stunning shots. The variety between the sunflower field and downtown scenes gave Jasmine a wide range of looks in her Smithville senior photos.

All About Jasmine | Smithville High School Senior

Jasmine is the youngest of seven and a student at Smithville High School. She’s incredibly involved in sports and school activities—she plays soccer as a defender, runs in several track events including the 100, 200, 400, 4×1, 4×2, and 4×4, and she’s also a high jumper. On top of that, she’s a varsity basketball cheerleader.

Favorites, Fun Facts, and Future Plans

After high school, Jasmine plans to major in psychology and dreams of becoming a forensic psychologist. Her favorite color is baby blue, and she loves movies like Titanic and the Twilight Saga. As for TV, she’s a big fan of The Vampire Diaries.

When it comes to food, Jasmine is all about buffalo chicken pizza with pineapple and great fries. She enjoys online shopping, but also likes browsing stores like Zumiez, American Eagle, Forever 21, and Brandy Melville.

One of her favorite things to do is hang out with friends and take photos of everything they do during senior year. After graduation, they plan to create a memory book filled with those pictures. Jasmine cherishes their Sunday tradition of going out to eat after church and having deep conversations about life. She says she’ll always be grateful for those moments.

Her favorite Bible verse is 1 Peter 4:8 — “Above all, love each other deeply because love covers a multitude of sins.”

Planning Your Smithville Senior Photos

Jasmine’s Smithville senior photo experience was a blend of everything that makes her who she is. From spontaneous laughter and street-side shots in Wooster to dreamy golden blooms at Ramseyer Farms, it was the perfect way to celebrate her final year of high school.

If you’re planning your own Smithville senior photos, think about what locations and styles represent you best. Whether it’s sunflowers, city streets, or something uniquely your own, your senior session should tell your story.
