When the leaves start to change in the Midwest, there’s a nostalgic, magical feeling in the air — the perfect setting for Jeremiah’s senior pictures in Canton, Ohio.
We met at two incredible local spots: the McKinley Monument and the Canton Garden Center. At first, I thought the light sprinkle of rain might put a damper (no pun intended, ha!) on the day, but instead, it created some fantastic photo opportunities. If you live in Ohio, you know how unpredictable the weather can be! I was frantically watching the radar, but Jeremiah seemed completely in his element. He loves being outdoors, especially in nature, which made the setting even more meaningful for him.
Planning Jeremiah’s Senior Pictures in Canton Ohio
Planning senior sessions over Zoom is one of my favorite parts of the process! It’s a great way to make sure each senior’s photos reflect their true personality. Jeremiah wanted to take his senior pictures in places he actually enjoys hanging out — and that’s exactly what we did to bring his vision to life for his senior photos in Canton Ohio.
One fun twist was incorporating Jeremiah’s favorite scary movie hoodie. For that part of the session, he requested a vibe that felt a little darker and less “nice.” I knew just the spot with a rusty gate that would fit the look he was going for. It’s always fun when seniors bring ideas that make their session totally unique.
I absolutely LOVE when a senior guy gets involved and helps customize the session to fit who they are!
Celebrating This McKinley High School Senior
It was also such a joy to see how proud Jeremiah’s mom was throughout the session. Oh, how time flies… and now here he is, getting ready to graduate from McKinley High School!
Before every session, I have my seniors fill out a fun questionnaire. Reading Jeremiah’s responses gave me even more insight into his interests and personality — it’s one more way we make sure each session feels true to the senior and their story.
Jeremiah, you were awesome to work with! Wishing you all the best as you finish senior year and beyond.
