Four tips to speed up your workflow for photographers!

You stopped by because you’re looking for some tips to speed up your workflow? Well, look no further!

Hello there, I am Jamie, owner of Jamie Lynette Photography!

I am a busy wife, Mom, employee, Glamma, and entrepreneur. You get it, right! Life is busy, we all are BUSY! Plus sometimes we wear all the hats too!

Plus working the creative business that you have nurtured, growing and love can be exhausting. We are responsible for #allthethings sometimes.

I am hoping one of my four tips to speed up your workflow for photographers helps some of you implement at least one thing and gain some time back in your day!

So here are my four tips to speed up your workflow!

1: Photo Mechanic!

If you do not know about Photo Mechanic by Camera Bits, you are missing out on some really valuable “culling” time!

You know when you are ingesting into Lightroom, how you have that delay before you can see if your image is any good? With Photo Mechanic, you don’t need to wait for photos to render you can see them almost instantaneously.

This allows me to cull through a session so much quicker before pulling them into Lightroom.

2. Pixifi!

This one was a huge game-changer for me!

What is Pixifi?

It is a web-based studio management system designed to make your business more organized. Track leads, clients, events, projects, invoices, payments, contracts and so much more! It’s like a built-in secretary!

While this system is complex and takes some dedicated time to set up. You can go to Pixifi University (from your desk), which walks you through all the steps of setting it up!

Here is a link for a three month trial of Pixifi, your coupon code will be “PHOTOGJAMIE”. It is used on the last step of the signup process,
you erase whatever one is there by default and paste it in. If you have any issues, shoot Tim an email and he will help you out!

3. Planoly!

Planoly is a visual planning tool that allows Instagram users to create calendars to plan their content, curate the content of others, schedule posts, analyze engagements. I love how I can see my whole grid and know what I should post next!

I sit down about one to two times a month and get all my content ready and scheduled to post! It links to Facebook too, so with a little time, I look like I am working each day.

Now all you need to do is check-in and respond to comments. You can do that sitting on the couch from now on!

Stop by and check out Planoly! It is worth it!

4. Narrative!

This is one of my newest purchases and I LOVE IT! This one is for my bloggers.

Narrative, allows you to build beautiful blogs in your own unique style. Once published, your blogs blend seamlessly into your website, load lightning-fast and look great on every device.

What I love MOST about this one is that you can “see” your layout and move things super easily! If you don’t like two photos side by side, you pull one out and put another in! Game changer!

Use my link to get 15% off Narrative, and code jamie12. Also, here is a link to their Youtube video channel to help you get started.

Here’s a little video to show you what Narrative is like! Just remember I am not a videographer! My husband did this for me with my iphone!

Just a quick iphone video to show you how to build a BEAUTIFUL blog! I am so glad I made the jump from my previous blog builder!

Thanks for hanging in here with me!

Finally, I hope you enjoyed my four tips to speed up your workflow for photographers and or bloggers! These are just some of my favorite programs that have helped save time and my sanity!
