Our hectic schedules were cleared for Tessa’s fall East Canton senior photos at Varian Orchard. Makeup and hair by Rachel Gabrielle was set, we were on the schedule at Varian Orchard, but we were all crossing our fingers that the radar would clear up—though it wasn’t looking promising.
Living in Ohio, weather-wise this fall has been quite the challenge. Sessions are scheduled months in advance, then watching as rain threatens an entire day. You watch and hope it doesn’t knock all the color off the trees. October scheduling was crazy, right along with the rest of 2020!
A Rainy Forecast for Tessa’s East Canton Senior Session
This particular October day was proving to be just like much of the rest of the month—full of rain. The radar looked like it was going to clear up just in time for Tessa’s East Canton senior photos session. We decided we were going to give it a go. It might be a little dreary, probably a little wet, but if we wanted color, we were going to go for it.

It was simply perfect! The fall color at Varian Orchard was amazing and did not disappoint! I am so glad we decided to go for it. This East Canton senior photo session was perfect, and Tessa nailed it with her outfits!

About Tessa – East Canton Senior Class of 2021
Tessa attends East Canton High School and is an only child. She’s been involved in several activities throughout high school:
- Varsity Volleyball (captain for 2 years), Travel Volleyball for 5 years, defensive specialist and outside hitter
- Track and Bowling all four years of high school
- Active in National Honor Society for 2 years
- Did Cheerleading for one year
- Played Concert Band for one year, as a tenor saxophonist
- Served as a Student Council member for 2 years
- Mentored students for 1 year
Tessa’s Favorite Things – Beyond East Canton Senior Photos
Tessa enjoys going to different zoos with her family and watching crime shows. Her favorite season is fall, and her favorite color is purple. She loves relaxing by listening to music and cuddling with her dog.
Tessa also volunteers with United Way and serves hot meals every Christmas. When she’s not volunteering, she serves her community through National Honor Society.
After High School – What’s Next for Tessa
After high school, Tessa is aiming to attend the University of Colorado or Purdue University to become an astronautical engineer. We can’t wait to see her dreams take off!
