COURTNEY AND KANE’S MILLERSBURG ENGAGEMENT SESSION
Courtney contacted me back in January as a referral from a photographer friend of mine who was already booked. After chatting back and forth we set a date to meet. Well, most of you that know me, will know that I am totally dependent on my GPS but yet somehow it has lead me astray more than once. Well, back in February, I was to meet Courtney and Kane at Olde World Bakery and Bistro, well my GPS took me to Berlin to that location rather than the Millersburg location, I missed that there were two locations! So maybe operator error rather than GPS? Anyway, after them waiting for me to come to the correct location, we chatted and had lunch. After walking away from this sweet couple, I was kicking myself for messing up, they were clearly an ideal #jlpcouple!
When Courtney contacted me, to let me know that they had decided that I was the photographer for them. You better bet on the other end of that line, I was doing one heck of a happy dance! It was so hard to contain my over the moon excitement on the phone. These two were so sweet and in love.
For Courtney and Kane’s Millersburg engagement session, we met at his families private property. The property has been in the family since the mid 60’s and let me tell you it was so beautiful with it’s rolling hills. Such a quiet and peaceful backdrop for this sweet couple. Courtney and Kane traveled from Port Clinton to meet up with me, with one reschedule and rain threatening again! We decided to give it a go, only once did we get a few drops, but we were super blessed that the rain held off! Oh and they brought their fur-babies Mickey and Scout along!
A LITTLE ABOUT THIS SWEET #JLPCOUPLE
They met on a blind date set up by her sister and brother in law. Courtney and Kane went on that double date at Cleats up near Marblehead since they both live up that way. Two days after they went on an official date at Ciao Bella. For the both of them, it was instant connection, they both knew after that first sweet date, that they were the ones. Kane proposed at The Cliffs and it came as a total surprise to Courtney. Three qualities Courtney described about Kane is that he is a Leader, he’s loyal and comical, she says he can make her laugh like no one else can! Three qualities that Kane described about Courtney is that she is funny, compassionate and cares for her family. When they were asked what they are most excited for on their wedding day, they both said marring their best friend.
Courtney and Kane, I am so excited to be your chosen photographer and I can’t wait until your July wedding!
