Peyton’s downtown Canton Ohio senior photos were everything a senior session should be. It was relaxed, fun, and completely true to who she is. From the very start of the day, it felt more like hanging out than being in front of a camera, which is exactly when the best moments happen.
We kicked things off with hair and makeup. Then we headed to the coffee spot for that cozy, everyday vibe. From there, we explored downtown, leaned into her personality, and even brought in one of her favorite things, Dr. Pepper. We got some of the most fun and unexpected photos of the whole session. We wrapped everything up surrounded by flowers at the Canton Garden Center, which gave her gallery the soft, natural finish that balanced everything out perfectly.
Every part of Peyton’s session felt like her and that’s always the goal.
Starting with Hair and Makeup
We started Peyton’s senior session with professional hair and makeup by Amanda Boylen Makeup Artistry, which is always one of my favorite ways to begin.
Not only does it photograph beautifully, but it gives my seniors that extra boost of confidence walking into their session. The goal is never to look like someone else—it’s to look like you, just elevated.

Downtown Canton Ohio photos : Coffee Shop Photos at Carpe Diem
From there, we headed to Carpe Diem to capture some relaxed, coffee shop-style photos.
This part of Peyton’s Canton Ohio senior photo session felt effortless. Sitting with her iced coffee, laughing, and easing into the day—it didn’t feel posed or forced. It felt real. And those are always the moments that end up meaning the most.

After the coffee shop, we explored downtown Canton for a mix of classic and personality-filled images.
Downtown is one of my favorite places for senior photos because it gives us so much variety in a short amount of time. Between the textures, storefronts, and open space, it allows each senior’s personality to really come through.
Peyton brought such a fun energy. Of course, we leaned into that with movement, candid moments, and letting her just be herself.
The Dr. Pepper Photos (Her Favorite Part)
One of the most fun parts of Peyton’s senior session was incorporating something that is so her—Dr. Pepper.
She found the cutest Dr. Pepper shirt while on vacation, and we knew we had to include it. What started as a simple idea turned into some of the most personality-filled photos of the entire session.
Laughing, shaking the can, letting it spray everywhere—these are the moments that you can’t perfectly plan, but they end up being the most memorable.
This is exactly why I always tell my seniors to bring something personal to their session. That’s what makes your photos different from everyone else’s.
Ending at Canton Garden Center
We finished Peyton’s senior photos at the Canton Garden Center, and it was the perfect way to end the session.
The soft light, the flowers, and the greenery gave us a completely different feel from the downtown portion. Her floral dress paired perfectly with this location, giving us those softer, more timeless images.
More About Peyton
Peyton is a senior at Norton High School and part of the Class of 2026.
She has been involved in color guard since 5th grade and is also in her school choir. Peyton also loves traveling, going on road trips, spending time with friends, and relaxing by listening to music. She also volunteers at her local church.
After high school, Peyton plans to attend Ohio Northern University to major in Nursing.
