Madi booked her Wooster senior photos session early back in March of her junior year, to lock in a perfect summer date before vacations, work, and volleyball season kicked into high gear.
From our first Zoom planning call, I knew her session would be full of style and personality. During that call, she came ready with adorable outfit ideas: a pink floral shirt with white jeans, a soft pink dress, a crisp white dress, and a classic white top with jeans. And of course, she brought her volleyball jersey and letterman jacket—a perfect way to represent her love for the game.
Getting Ready for Wooster Senior Photos: Hair, Makeup & a Stormy Surprise
Our session started with hair and makeup at Ashley R Does Hair in Wooster, a go-to for many of my high school senior pictures. The forecast called for sunshine, but the skies had other plans—storm clouds rolled in quickly! Meanwhile, Madi’s mom, Laura, and I kept a close eye on the radar while staying upbeat so Madi wouldn’t worry. Thankfully, it passed quickly with just a light sprinkle, and we were back on track! Ohio has been so unpredictable!
Ashley worked her usual magic, and Madi looked stunning. She brought such a sweet, calm energy to every frame. Her confidence and kindness shone through on camera.
Wooster Senior Photos and our Favorite Backdrop? The Pink House, of Course!
As a Wooster senior photographer, I love using vibrant and meaningful local spots, and this session featured one of the best: the famous pink house in downtown Wooster. It was the perfect pop of color to match Madi’s fun, stylish summer vibe.
Furthermore, we captured everything from joyful smiles to quiet, reflective moments. Her senior portraits in Wooster turned out just as dreamy as we’d hoped.
