A Downtown Wooster Engagement Session to Remember
It’s been a bit quiet here at JLP, especially during the winter months. Despite the slower pace, I’ve been busy with emails, phone calls, and other behind-the-scenes work. However, I recently had the chance to capture a Downtown Wooster Engagement Session, and I couldn’t have been more excited. It’s always a joy to get back out there, especially in such a beautiful location like Downtown Wooster.
How Shaun and Lisa Met
Shaun and Lisa’s story began at their church youth group. They met four years ago and, just this past August, enjoyed their first date at City Square Steakhouse. Afterward, they grabbed coffee at The Gathering Grounds Coffee House. This spot held special meaning for them, making it the perfect location for part of their Downtown Wooster Engagement Session.
A Change in Weather, But Not in Plans
As is typical for Ohio, the weather had a surprise for us on the day of the session. Snowstorm warnings were in place, and I was in constant contact with Lisa. We decided to move the session up by a couple of hours to avoid the predicted ice storm. Thankfully, the weather cleared up just enough for us to capture some beautiful shots.
Exploring Downtown Wooster: Perfect Backdrop for Their Engagement Session
Walking through the charming streets of Downtown Wooster, we took full advantage of the city’s beauty. From cozy corners to historic architecture, this town provides a perfect backdrop for any engagement session. We had such a great time laughing and capturing moments. I’m so glad we made the best of the situation, despite the crazy weather!
Looking Forward to Their Traditional Mennonite Wedding
I’m incredibly excited to photograph Shaun and Lisa’s upcoming Traditional Mennonite wedding. Their love is clear, and their deep connection to their community shines through. I can’t wait to be part of their special day, just like I was for their Engagement Session.
