Christmas Sleigh Mini Sessions

Something I have had in my head for a few years now was having Christmas Sleigh Mini Sessions. Each year, I would dream it up in my head, but never bring it to life. But this year, I decided no more pushing the idea on the back burner, I was going to do it! 2017 has been my year of pushing forward, dreaming big and believing in myself! So what better time to do it.

Since specializing in Weddings and Seniors this year, I still have families that I have photographed in the past still contact me wanting sessions for Fall and Christmas. So this year, I got to work as soon as wedding season slowed, which was early November this year.

My first plea was to find a sleigh, which turning to the world of facebook made that an easy find! Next was to contact an event stylist. Since, I have been blessed with getting to know Mycha, owner, of SM Events and Design by working with her at several weddings. I just knew I had to hire Mycha, to style the Mini Session. After chatting, she already knew a florist who was interested in styling a sleigh to showcase her greenery, so Linda from Dietz Falls Florist hopped on board with my mini idea. Mycha and I both knew to bring this to life we needed a white barn to complete the look I was going for. A call to The Miller Barn in Apple Creek, it was a go! Loved this venue I got to photograph a wedding at this past fall.

The Families

Meet the beautiful families that were a BIG part of making this dream a reality! They all came and braved a cold windy 20 minutes with Mycha and I. They came with joyful hearts, big smiles, and amazing outfits. You might recognize a few couples, they are Newlyweds just this year and I was blessed to be their photographer not once but twice this year! Another couple celebrated a 35-year vow renewal, I was blessed to photograph. After everyone’s session, they enjoyed the Hot Chocolate Bar. A big thank you to you all for making my Christmas Sleigh Mini Sessions a reality and booking with me! I had so much fun and it was definitely a whirlwind day.
