Cayla’s Summer Senior Session in a Blooming Garden Paradise
Cayla wanted something beautiful and full of flowers for her Summer Senior Session. Fortunately, my sweet friend Jen who also happens to be my photo editor, had just shared a post about her grandma’s gorgeous garden. One quick phone call later, and we had permission to use the property!
From the moment we arrived, I knew this spot was exactly what Cayla was hoping for. The peaceful setting, colorful blooms, and chirping birds created the perfect atmosphere for a Summer Senior Session full of warmth and personality. Nestled along a quiet country road, this charming garden had a rustic touch that matched Cayla’s creative spirit.
All About Cayla – The Girl Behind This Summer Senior Session
Cayla comes from a big, close-knit family. She has six siblings, including a twin brother (she’s older by 8 minutes!). As someone active in school, she’s been involved in 4-H for nine years and has served as the student council secretary for four years. She also enjoys being part of clubs like Art Club, FCCLA, Pep Club, and SODA Club.
When Cayla is not busy with school activities, Cayla loves visiting her family’s camp in West Virginia. Riding four-wheelers, sitting by the fire, and just hanging out together are some of her favorite memories.
Fun Facts and Favorites
Fall is Cayla’s favorite season because of the cozy weather and the start of the holidays. Her favorite color is red, and when she wants to relax, she listens to music or cuddles with her dog, Archie.
Cayla’s hobbies reflect her artistic side—she loves anything involving art, photography, animals, and even restoring vintage campers. She also enjoys thrifting and exploring new places. Traveling is one of her favorite things in life because, as she says, “no two places are the same.”
When it comes to food and fun, Cayla’s go-to restaurants include Hibachi, Spaghetti Warehouse, and just about any place serving Mexican food. Her favorite foods are avocados and fruit, and she’s a big fan of scary movies. Her top TV picks are Riverdale and In the Dark.
Cayla’s Dream Career
Looking ahead, Cayla dreams of starting a traveling boutique in a vintage camper—maybe a coffee shop, clothing boutique, or antique store. She’s still deciding, but one thing is clear: her passion for creativity will shine no matter what she chooses.
Why This Summer Senior Session Was So Special
Cayla, it has been an absolute joy having you on my senior team. Though you’re a little on the quiet side, your kindness and sweet nature stand out in every interaction. I’ve loved working with you, especially during this Summer Senior Session, and I’m looking forward to more team shoots together.
To Cayla’s mom, Kyle—thank you for raising such a wonderful young woman. This session was not only fun but meaningful, and I’m so grateful I got to be part of this chapter in Cayla’s story.
