Where do I start with these beautiful Barnes Preserve Engagement Photos? Other than the fact that I took Kayla’s senior photos. Plus, I get to be her wedding photographer on the day she marries her best friend Charlie!
What a lucky girl I am! Also, Kayla happens to be my son’s best friend’s sister. So I have known this sweet girl and Charlie a while!
Kayla and Charlie love nature, so we decided on Barnes Preserve Wooster. If you have not taken a walk there, you should! It is gorgeous out there and so peaceful. Perfect for photos, a quiet walk, or bike ride.
During their session, we chatted about the new house they just bought and the work they are doing on it. Enjoyed the peace and quiet to create among this gorgeous landscape.
The love story starts here…
They met her junior year of high school and his senior year on the bus. Kayla was even new to the school, that year! Charlie say’s “before I even talked to her I told my friend that she was gonna be my girlfriend!”
The first date was at the Wayne county fair, Kayla said she was nervous but it was great! He was excited about the date!
These two are best friends! They enjoy walking their dogs, watch tv, do projects around the house.
When asked what you admire most about your fiance…
Kayla says “He cares so much about me, always makes sure I’m okay, and of course, he’s the best dog dad ever!”
Charlie says what he admires most about Kayla is her kind heart.
The Engagement 6-14-2018
From her point of view, I had no idea it was happening but my whole family did. We were on a huge family vacation and he asked if I wanted to walk on the beach. Halfway through our walk, he started telling me how much he loved me. Then I looked over and he was on his knee. Then when I said yes my whole family came running out they were watching the whole time!
Charlie’s point of view, I was so nervous and anxious to get it done! I did it on the first day of our family vacation within the first few hours we were there.
Let’s get to know them better…
Her favorite Movies: Cheaper by the dozen, what’s eating Gilbert grape.
His favorite Movie: Old skool.
Favorite snacks for her is anything salty and sweet! His are cookies or chips.
A Me day for Kayla includes Sleep in late, get coffee, go shopping! For Charlie, it’s to sleep in, order food, and play Xbox.
Kayla’s three favorite qualities about Charlie are he’s funny, handsome, has such a big heart, but doesn’t let a lot of people see that! Charlie describes his favorite three qualities about Kayla is that she is beautiful, sassy, so loving!
Kayla is looking most forward to her wedding day is having all her family and friends there and marrying her best friend. Charlie is looking forward to EVERYTHING!
