This late September senior girl photo session, in Wooster, Ohio took some planning!
When chatting with Emma she was unsure what exactly she wanted for her senior photos. So we chatted on the phone about some places and ideas I had, for her vision for her senior photos.
Trying to figure out exactly what Emma wanted, I sent her several galleries to look at to help her decide on locations. This is all part of the pre-consultation process over here at JLP!
In the end, we totally nailed it with this session! It was exactly what Emma had hoped for and this makes me so giddy!
What session to choose?
When deciding which session you want, having enough time is important! Hair and makeup are a big deciding factor too!
For Emma’s session, she chose the three-hour session with hair and makeup too! Emma wanted to have multiple locations and multiple outfits also. We were able to go to Barnes preserve, Downtown Wooster, and the Secrest Arboretum for a huge variety for Emma’s photos.
When talking about hair and makeup, her Mom wanted her to have the pampering, which I LOVE! Natural makeup is the vibe we were going for and I think Angelina nailed it!

Favorite Foods: Coffee, donuts, pizza, buffalo chicken dip, chicken fingers, salads, and breakfast foods
Hobbies: Playing Soccer, skiing, hanging out with friends, playing piano, and singing
Extra-Curricular activities: she has played soccer since she was in 2nd grade and has played all positions. Most recently, she played outside mid on her high school team. She is a 4-year varsity letter winner.
Emma is also involved in Key Club, Spanish club, Ski Club, National Honor Society, Student Government, youth group, and worship team.
Favorite things to do with family: “I love to spend time with my family! I like it when we all have downtime at home and can just relax, watch movies and be together. I enjoy time spent vacationing with my family too.”
Emma says her favorite way to relax is: “My sister and I enjoy relaxing together and watching movies while hanging out in my room. I also love to visit coffee shops with my friends.”
Some of Emma’s Favorite things to do in life: “I love to travel. Recently, my family went to Tennesee and enjoyed the mountains. I also love the beach! The week after graduation, I am going to Italy with some of my friends, as part of a school tour!”
Shopping: She loves to shop! Her favorite stores are American Eagle, Target (of course), Ulta, Alter’d state, and Francesa’s!
Eating Out, Emma says: “I like a lot of restaurants! Chik-fil-A, BJ’s, Starbucks, and Chipolte are some of my favorites.”
Favorite Bible Verse: Romans 8:38-39
Job: She has worked at the local library for the last 2.5 years.
After High School Plans
Emma plans to attend Cedarville University to study Mathematics and Actuarial Science.
