Planning the Perfect Senior Girl Photo Session
To start, this late September senior girl photo session in Wooster, Ohio took some thoughtful planning! When I first connected with Emma, she wasn’t entirely sure what she wanted for her senior portraits. So, we hopped on a call to talk about her vision and different location options. I also sent her several sample galleries to help her decide, which is a key part of my senior pre-consultation process at JLP!
Ultimately, in the end, we totally nailed it—and the session turned out to be everything Emma had hoped for!
Choosing the Right Senior Session Experience
When choosing a senior girl photo session, having enough time is key. Emma chose the three-hour session with hair and makeup included. This gave us time to visit multiple locations and capture several outfit changes—perfect for showing off all the different sides of her personality!
Our stops included:
- Barnes Preserve for natural greenery and early fall color
- Downtown Wooster for urban charm and chic vibes
- Secrest Arboretum at OARDC for floral backdrops and soft golden light
Emma’s natural makeup look was done by Angelina and perfectly complemented her style. Her mom wanted the full pampering experience for her, and I love when seniors get to feel that extra bit special!
