Abbie’s Senior Pictures in Orrville, Ohio
Abbie’s senior pictures in Orrville, Ohio turned out better than we ever expected — and you’ll definitely want to hear how we met because it’s a funny one (spoiler alert: it involves paint-covered glasses and a Dairy Queen).
To start, Abbie is part of my Senior Inspire Team, and her individual session was such a blast. When we began planning, I had her fill out a detailed questionnaire before our location and outfit consultation. This helps me understand each senior’s vibe and dream photo goals while matching outfits to ideal locations.
Originally, she wanted her session in Wooster. However, after pointing out some underused spots in Orrville, she was excited to try something different. Plus, we still planned to head to the OARDC for a touch of nature.
Not to mention, photographing in new places always excites me, and downtown Orrville did not disappoint. Brick walls, glass storefronts, cozy alleys, and the overpass bridge gave us tons of visual variety.
A Quick Backstory on How I Met Abbie
However, I can’t share her pictures without first sharing our hilarious first encounter!
It was a totally normal day — which means I was knee-deep in a painting project and looking very unglamorous. My husband and I ran to the Orrville Dairy Queen for food, and even though I looked like a mess, we decided to go inside.
As we were ordering, the girl behind the counter (yep, Abbie) said, “Hey, aren’t you that Jamie Lynette Photography girl?” Mortified, I laughed and owned it. She had already seen my paint-covered chaos on Instagram stories.
What made it even more special was, Abbie was just a freshman at the time, but she waited four years to join the Senior Inspire Team and book her dream session. And I’m so glad she did!
