Downtown Wooster Engagement Session
It has been a little quiet over here at JLP, which is usually the case over the winter months. Emails, phone calls, inquiries, working on the backend side of the business has kept me busy enough. But I had not been out to shoot in a few months, but this past week I had two engagement sessions. So, I was super excited to get back in the saddle as they say! I always love to shoot a Downtown Wooster Engagement Session. Actually, I love any reason to shoot in Downtown Wooster, it is such a beautiful city!
Shaun + Lisa
Shaun and Lisa met at their church youth group about four years ago. This past August they shared their first date at City Square Steakhouse, followed with Coffee at The Gathering Grounds Coffee House. They both knew it was the beginning of a wonderful relationship!
Since the Coffee House held a special place in their hearts, it only seemed logical for Shaun and Lisa to have a few photos at the place of their first date. Lisa and I had met over coffee a few weeks ago and decided on this past Saturday. Well, of course, crazy Ohio weather had me calling Lisa in the morning with updates on the weather. Finally, after talking we decided after the crazy snow in the morning to bump up their session a few hours since they were calling for possible ice to start moving in. We were glad that we got it in a little earlier that afternoon, it warmed up just enough!
We enjoyed walking the city streets of Downtown Wooster, chatting and laughing. I am looking forward to photographing them the next time in hopefully much warmer June temperatures. Plus, they are my first Traditional Mennonite wedding and I am looking forward to the beautiful day they have planned.
