Senior Pictures for Guys That Reflect Your Personality

To begin with, Jarrett, a senior from my small local community, chose a one-of-a-kind location for his photos. At JLP, I always strive to tailor each session to reflect you uniquely, and this session was the perfect example of senior pictures for guys that are personal and meaningful. Naturally, when Jarrett asked if we could do his senior pictures on his family’s hunting preserve, I instantly said yes. It was the ideal backdrop for a session that felt true to him.

A Hunting Preserve Adventure

Jarrett’s senior session took place at Buck Dynasty in Shreve, Ohio, a location owned by his grandparents. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this would be special. Later that afternoon, we were greeted by his sweet grandparents, and then Jarrett, his Grandma Jane, and I headed out on the Polaris. As he hopped out to open the gate, he joked about having a “Jurassic Park moment,” and we all shared a good laugh.

This unique setting gave us everything we needed for rugged, outdoorsy senior pictures for guys. The preserve, complete with wildlife and wide-open spaces, was the perfect reflection of Jarrett’s lifestyle and interests.

Senior Pictures for Guys Who Love Sports

We also made sure to include Jarrett’s love for sports in his senior photo session. As a Football Captain at Waynedale High School, it only made sense to capture some locker room shots. Jarrett has played football for 10 years, wrestled for 12, and played baseball for 14—he’s been a Varsity athlete in all three. Including this part of his life was important to him and gave his photos even more personality.
