Jared is a Class of 2021 Norwayne High School senior, and it was such an honor to capture his senior photos for guys in Wooster. From the start, I knew this urban session was going to be one for the books. I have to be honest—my husband and I have watched this guy play basketball over the past three years, even though he had no idea. (Ok, not in a weird way, I promise!)
How I Became Jared’s Senior Photographer for Guys in Wooster
Here’s how I ended up photographing this talented senior. If you know me, you know I’ll strike up a conversation with just about anyone. One day in line at my favorite crafting store, I got chatting with Jared’s mom. When she mentioned he played basketball for Norwayne, I told her she had to follow my photography page—I was dying to photograph this guy!
Meet Jared – A Norwayne High School Senior Ready for His Urban Session in Wooster
Jared is the youngest of two, with an older sister. He’s been playing basketball since third grade and currently plays as a guard for Norwayne. When he’s not on the court, he enjoys deer hunting, working out at the gym, and watching sports.
His Favorites:

- Food: Pizza (same here!)
- Restaurant: Applebee’s
- TV Show: Anything on the sports channel
- Movie: When the Game Stands Tall

Jared says, “Sports would be my favorite—playing and watching, plus vacationing with my family and hanging out with friends.”
After high school, he plans to pursue a career in the machining trade and will be starting an apprenticeship with a local company. How awesome is that?

When it came time for Jared’s senior session, he chose Downtown Wooster—and it was the perfect urban backdrop. Despite some strong wind that day, he handled it like a pro and rocked his session!
