Creatives are always dreaming, right? For years, I’ve imagined a colorful, vibrant senior session at the Wayne County Fair—and the Class of 2020 helped me bring that dream to life with stunning Wayne County Fair photos that captured the essence of our local traditions and youthful energy.

Back in 2019, I didn’t have a senior rep team yet, but I had a big idea: a fun, fair-inspired shoot full of bright lights, cotton candy, and unique photo ops. So, I ran a Facebook ad looking for girls who were up for a styled shoot at the Wayne County Fair in Wooster. The response was incredible! With the help of a photographer friend, we selected a small group of senior girls—and they were perfect for this shoot.

Fair Day Prep

On shoot day, the girls finally met in person after chatting for weeks in a group message. The excitement was contagious! Their hair was styled by Sophia at Edge Hair Design and makeup was done by Taran of American Beauty Artistry.

There was music playing, outfits were getting sorted, and behind-the-scenes boomerangs were flying! Of course, we had pizza, snacks, and tons of laughs while getting ready. It felt more like a party than a photo shoot! That’s exactly the vibe I wanted.

Time for Wayne County Fair Senior Photos!

Finally, once we arrived at the Wayne County Fairgrounds in Wooster, the girls were glowing—confident, styled, and ready for their moment. Our first stop? Lerch’s Donuts, of course! It’s a local favorite and a must-have for any visit to the fair. Some of the girls, it was their first Lerch’s—and it made for the sweetest start to our shoot.

We explored the fairgrounds, taking photos by colorful rides, classic food stands, and glowing lights. The Ferris wheel to the funhouse, every moment was filled with joy and vibrant energy. This wasn’t just a photo session—it was an experience none of us will forget.
