Senior Inspire Team 2021, A team to INSPIRE others!
This year’s Senior Inspire Team 2021 is an inspiration! What a year they are facing and their Cleveland, Ohio shoot was ahhhhmazing!
People often tell me that I’m an inspiration—and as a survivor, that truly means the world to me. I do my best to walk in grace and encourage others to do the same.
That’s exactly why the team name had to change. I never wanted anyone to feel like they had to be a “model” to be part of this experience. I was looking for girls who wanted to inspire. Girls who are kind, joyful, and willing to lift others up—just like the ones on this year’s Senior Inspire Team.
Let’s be honest—the Class of 2021 is already inspiring. They’re living through a global pandemic, yet they’re showing up, making memories, and embracing every opportunity they can.
They’ve handled so much with grace. Yes, we had to cancel our fair photoshoot—but these girls are rolling with the punches and ready for whatever comes next. I’ve got some incredible creative plans ahead, and I can’t wait to share them with you!
WHY Inspire?
The meaning of Inspire is: to fill someone with the urge or ability to do or feel something—especially to do something creative.
That’s exactly what this team is all about. It’s our motto this year, and it’s the heart behind everything we do. I want every session to be filled with feeling—joy, confidence, creativity. I want each girl to feel empowered and inspired, and I want us to create something meaningful together every time we shoot.
Team Day
After lots of planning—and plenty of re-planning thanks to the chaos C…VID brought—we finally made it to our big day!
We kicked things off at Plume and Paper in Smithville, Ohio. My sweet friend Jody, a talented wedding stationer, runs the cutest pink shop. It was the perfect starting point for such a fun day.
While we got settled, Allysa arrived and jumped right into hairstyling, while Rachel from Rachel Gabrielle & Co brought her glam game with flawless makeup for each girl.
Let me just say this—you are already perfect just as you are. You’re beautiful, radiant, and full of light. But this day? It was about celebrating you and making you feel like the rockstars you are. Hair and makeup just gave us that extra boost of confidence—and you all owned it.
Once everyone was camera-ready, Whitney from That Bus Ohio loaded us up and drove us to Cleveland. There, we visited my friend Cassie’s gorgeous studio, Blush Bloom Boudoir. Every corner of it was styled beautifully—absolutely perfect for photos.
Next, we explored Ohio City, snapped more fun shots, grabbed dinner together, and wrapped up the evening with dreamy sunset photos that felt like the perfect ending to a magical day.
You girls showed up, shined bright, and made this whole day unforgettable. I hope you felt as beautiful and celebrated as you truly are. I already can’t wait for our next group shoot!
